چکیده

Pre-miR-675 is a microRNA expressed from the exon 1 of H19 long noncoding RNA, and atypical expression pre-miR-675 has been linked with several diseases disorders including cancer. To execute its function inside cell, folded into particular conformation, which aids in interaction other biological molecules. However, exact folding dynamics protein-binding motifs are currently unknown. Moreover, how lncRNA crosstalk modulate each other’s activities also unclear. The detailed structural analysis this study determines earlier unknown conformation identifies novel sites on pre-miR-675, thus making it an excellent therapeutic target against Co-folding between determine transformations describing mechanism these two Comprehensively, details explains relationship lncRNA, can be interpreted to understand role development progression tumorigenesis designing new therapeutics cancers.

Study of PKA binding sites in cAMP-signaling pathway using structural protein-protein interaction networks

Backgroud: Protein-protein interaction, plays a key role in signal transduction in signaling pathways. Different approaches are used for prediction of these interactions including experimental and computational approaches. In conventional node-edge protein-protein interaction networks, we can only see which proteins interact but ‘structural networks’ show us how these proteins inter...

Structural Descriptors of Protein-Protein Binding Sites

Structural bioinformatics provides new tools for investigating protein-protein interactions at the molecular level. We present two types of structural descriptors for efficiently representing and comparing protein-protein binding sites and surface patches. The descriptors are based on distributions of distances between five types of functional atoms, thereby capturing the spatial arrangement of...

Protein-Protein Binding Sites Prediction by 3D Structural Similarities

Identifying the location of binding sites on proteins is of fundamental importance for a wide range of applications including molecular docking, de novo drug design, structure identification, and comparison of functional sites. In this paper, we develop an efficient approach for finding binding sites between proteins. Our approach consists of four steps: local sequence alignment, protein surfac...

DBD2BS: connecting a DNA-binding protein with its binding sites

By binding to short and highly conserved DNA sequences in genomes, DNA-binding proteins initiate, enhance or repress biological processes. Accurately identifying such binding sites, often represented by position weight matrices (PWMs), is an important step in understanding the control mechanisms of cells. When given coordinates of a DNA-binding domain (DBD) bound with DNA, a potential function ...
